IMAN is an independent initiative inspired by the new expression means
offered by the emerging technologies. The starting point was the puzzled
situation of the contemporary "artist" where one finds herself at the
intersection of arts and sharp edge sciences. The software transforming
itself to the material which constitutes the very substance of the artistic
realm exponentially blurs the borders between the artist and the audience
as well as broadening the limits of artistic creativity.

IMAN is therefore a platform which aims more than merely conveying the
creators but, also accommodating for comprehensive discussion and
intellectual intercourse.

This is the open network for those fascinated by the very phenomenon
that now humankind has a common digital signal base for text, sound and
image.
