(sorry for the English) There is a musician here from Berlin this month working on some projects at Caravansarai - Micha. He will have a internet radio show next week on wednesday: "In the beginning, there was BEEP" - just a simple chipsound radio show - Almost 30 years have passed since the rise of personal computers with sound chips. Time for a chipsound review. This radio show will feature chiptunes made with ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 and Atari ST. Listen to songs from chiptune legends like Rob Hubbard, Wally Beben and Tim Follin as well as some newschool tracks from STU, Goto80, Marcer and others. Tune in and travel in time! If you know of musicians or artists in the neighborhood (or elsewhere in Istanbul) that would be interested to be involved with the show, or to stop by some time when he is here..please pass this on! Call for Instructors / Workshop Leaders Get Info Workshops 2008 At Caravansarai – project space and meeting point • Technology : sound, video, computer, linux, internet • Fine Art / Crafts • Cooking : traditional, international, fusion • Talks / Walks : art, culture, philosophy, other  Individuals from any background can use the Caravansarai space to teach an income-generating class or lead a workshop, sharing their experience and skills.  Teachers may develop a one time or ongoing workshop. It can be about digital video production, or how to crochet a hat, the history of the internet, or how to make French pastries.  Caravansarai is a fully flexible, street-level and basement space with tables and chairs, a fully equipped kitchen, a computer and wireless internet.
